The village of Kokkino Horio is about 200 m above Almirida Beach and has some of the most stunning views of
the sea
and mountains.
Zorba the Greek was filmed here in the late 1960s and nearly all the village participated.
A lot of
wonderful old architecture can be seen
as you walk
through the tiny village lanes.
