Village of Aspro

The small village of Aspro is located in the Apokoron region of the northwest coast of Crete, Greece and is only 5 minutes walk from Almirida Beach.  Built upon a hill, it affords spectacular views of Almirida Beach and the Cretan White Mountains. The buildings date mainly from the 18th century and here you can see some lovely restoration work. Cars must be parked in the main square as the roads are too narrow for vehicles.
