Almirida Village

Almirida is located in the Apokoron region of the northwest coast of Crete, Greece and is approx. 25 kilometers from Hania. Almirida has a beautiful, long beach that is ideal for families and especially small children. Wind surfers, kayaks, paddle boats and beach chairs can be rented on the beach. Almirida has many hotels, rental rooms, tavernas, snack & cafe bars, gift shops, grocery stores & bakeries, all of which are open late into the night in the tourist season. Many tour buses, as well as the public transport buses, arrive here from Hania bus terminal so it is quite easy to visit Almirida for a day.
