How to configure a hub to share a printer on a network? I have not had any success?
Computers on the network using Novell client.The hub is a basic Netgear hub with 8 ethernet connector. Computers use XP. I put the ip network printer and the same port. It is raw. and I think that is all you need to know. The printer already have IP configured and the printer worked as it was connected directly to the Ethernet jack on each user's computer (the walls of a corporate building. I must just need help with how to connect all through the hub, if that's even possible. Thanks for your help. It is a Unisys 136 printer
If the printer has a card for network connection you must configure the IP address of the printer to program the card. You also need to load the network printer drivers on your PC and create the route. Depending on your printer you can use a crossover cable to connect it to the hub.
